VoloVolo brings the diaspora and the Comoros closer together
Buying and selling between France and the Comoros should be as simple as sending a message to a loved one. VoloVolo brings buyers and sellers together on one marketplace — online and in store — and makes sure payment is never a barrier again.
Who we are
VoloVolo was born from a simple observation. Between the diaspora settled in France and the Comoros, exchanges are constant: people buy for their families, bring in products from home, and look to sell their crafts or goods across the sea. Yet all of this still happens through private messages, informal groups, and trust-based arrangements — without a proper shop, without tracking, and above all without a payment method that works on both sides.
We built VoloVolo to change that: a real marketplace, designed mobile-first, where every seller — individual, artisan, or established merchant — has their own online shop, and where every buyer can order with confidence, pay using the method they already use, and track their order through to delivery. Our role is not to get in the way, but to give everyone the tools to buy and sell on their own terms, simply.
What we do
A marketplace only works if both sides benefit. We designed VoloVolo around two promises — one for buyers, one for sellers — with a single thread running through both: simplicity.
For buyers
"Buy what you want, pay how you want."
You browse a catalogue powered by real sellers, place an order in a few taps, and pay with your usual method — bank card or mobile money. Once the order is placed, you're not left on your own: you track its progress, exchange messages directly with the seller, and if something goes wrong, refunds are handled. Shopping remotely should inspire as much confidence as buying in a store.

For sellers
"Open your shop in 5 minutes, sell across two continents."
In just a few minutes, you create your shop and publish your first products — no approvals or complex procedures needed. You manage multiple shops, receive payments in KMF without needing an IBAN, promote your listings with built-in advertising tools, and run everything from the dedicated app, right from your phone. Selling online becomes just another channel — not a mountain to climb.
Online and in store
Already running a physical shop? VoloVolo gives it an online presence without disrupting your business. Your shop stays yours; it simply becomes visible and reachable far beyond your neighbourhood. Your customers find you online as well as in person, whether they're in the same city or thousands of kilometres away.
Our purpose
Our goal is concrete: to make it easier for diaspora members and Comorians at home to buy and sell goods. Behind that sentence are families who want to stay close despite the distance, merchants who deserve a storefront worthy of their work, and buyers who simply want to pay without hitting a wall.
We want to tear down, one by one, the barriers that complicate this commerce — payments that don't cross borders, distance, technical complexity — so that goods, and trust, can flow freely between the Comoros and the rest of the world. The corridor between France and the Comoros is just the beginning.
Our values
What guides every decision we make.
Closeness
Bringing the diaspora closer to home and Comorians closer to each other. Every order is also a bond that endures despite the distance.
Accessibility
Buy and sell with your usual payment method — card or mobile money — wherever you are. No one should be excluded from online commerce for lack of the right tool.
Autonomy
Every seller runs their shop and collects payments directly, online and in person. We provide the tools; you stay in control.
Trust
Secure payments, order tracking, and clear communication between buyers and sellers. Trust is built at every step, not just at the moment of the sale.
